Hey, I’m Emily, welcome to COMFORT FOOD!

I drink coffee because I like being reminded of how bitter I am that Michelle probably isn’t running in 2020. It tastes good too, I guess.

I read because I can have a conversation with the Happy Medium, go to grandmother’s house with Red, dance to Come on Eileen with Charlie, fall in love with Mr. Darcy, solve crimes with Watson and Holmes, and roam the streets of Paris with Hadley.

I write because, with just a pen or pencil, I am so powerful.

COMFORT FOOD is as much my own space as it is yours. With every fiber of my being, I’m a writer. I hope that one day, I get to do this for a living but for now, I think I’ll finish my bachelor’s degree first.
